Frere Hall

Frere Hall is one of the many remnant buildings of the British colonial era that still exist in 
Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.


In the period of British rule , served as City Hall Frere Hall , Karachi is the center of social and cultural activities . Built in the Venetian Gothic style with yellow limestone and Karachi Jungshahi red and gray sandstone.


Frere Hall, has a library and a complete painting gallery Pakistan iconic artists Sadequain ( home 

called " Arz neighbor Samawat" famous mural Sadequain). It was built in the Battle Sir Henry

 Edward Freer , who is to promote economic development so that the language of faith in his office 

only official language known honor.


Inaugurated in 1865 as the main city hall of Karachi. Architect: Col. Clair Wilkins.

Construction started in 1863 and completed in 1865.

Its have library, history and gallery. 

Its is also the beautiful place for tourism, it open for visitor
