Wahgah border ceremony interesting information,  And one of the basic tourist point 

Wagah is located on the international highway between Amritsar, India and Lahore, Pakistan. Pakistan came into existence in the year 1947 from India. Both the countries have a long border that starts from Kashmir and end at the Arabian waters. There are many places on this boarder line which are proper crossing to each other countries, Wahgah Border is one of them.The most unique element here is the Wahgah Border ceremony. It is very famous throughout the country for its flag ceremony and pride at evening.

 Pakistan Rangers are deputed here in the age of peace and they deliver an enthusiastic pride here on daily basis. Peoples across the country rushes here at evening to witness these eye catching moments of Wahgah border ceremony.
The Pakistan India border is 29 km (18 miles) from Lahore along the GT road at Wahgah.

 In normal days the Flag ceremonies are held daily, raising in the morning and lowering 30 minutes before the sunsets. This daily routine is colourful and traditional. The Indian and Pakistani soldiers try for military perfections. T.D.C.P runs sightseeing tours from Lahore to attend the evening ceremony. In normal conditions the Wahgah border opens daily between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the foreign visitors but the nationals of Pakistan and India can only cross by train.
